Starting Monday the 21st the Festival returns to Minneapolis with evening event in clubs and on the 24th there is a 'Jazz Night Out'. The Hot Summer Jazz Festival keeps cooking on the weekend as it returns to Peavey Plaza and other stages downtown, which will host a full weekend of jazz including local stars visitors and special guests: David “Fathead” Newman, Jimmy McGriff, and Chicago's Von Freeman at the "Jack McDuff Memorial" stage (details follow).
