Jorge Banuelos: The JB Factor

Come enjoy a special dia de los muertos themed show from The JB Factor! The JB Factor is a musical collective led by the (relatively) new-to-town drummer Jorge Banuelos. Born and raised in Wichita, KS, Jorge has had the pleasure of bumping shoulders with talented musicians from near and far. In the past he has worked with the Carleton College Jazz ensembles & Big Band, the Yale School of Music Legacy Jazz ensemble, the Yale School of Music Modern Jazz ensemble, and the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. The JB Factor’s repertoire draws from the sonic traditions of jazz, r&b, hip-hop, soul, funk, and latin music. It features several original charts from the band members, as well as some reinterpretations of the classics. In addition to Jorge, The JB Factor’s members consists of some of the finest cats on this side of the Mississippi.
