Literally, the best jazz bargains of the month can be found in both downtowns as the Twin Cities Jazz Festival gets underway in St Paul June 22-23 before moving to Minneapolis for the final weekend, June 29-July 1. But as always, there’s free and cheap jazz throughout the metro area, including a few new venues.

Jazz Under $10

Artists Quarter (408 St Peter Street, St Paul; www.artistsquarter.com)
