The seventh annual JVC Jazz Festival - Miami  takes place Thrusday, May 17 through Saturday, May 19, 2007 and will feature a diverse lineup of performers focusing on musical styles from South, Central and North America. As in years past, the 2007 JVC Jazz Festival Miami will present great music in venues throughout the Miami area, this year including the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts' Knight Concert Hall, the Van Dyke Café, The Arturo Sandoval Jazz Club and the North Beach Bandshell. This year's festival will be sure to provide something for everyone.

Saturday, May 19 at the Knight Concert Hall, The JVC Jazz Festival - Miami proudly presents Bebel Gilberto and Federico Aubele. This will be the debut performance for Brazil's Bebel Gilberto at the Hall, hot on the heels of her third CD release, Memento. Buenos Aries native, Federico Aubele, opens the night at 8pm. Tickets for this show are on sale now!

Sidetepper will be performing at the North Beach Bandshell on May 18. With a history winding from Bogota to London and back again, this group, with influences from electronic music to Salsa, will have the audience moving from start to finish.

Other artists scheduled to appear on this year's festival include Arturo Sandoval on Thursday, May 17 and Dave Samuels & The Caribbean Jazz Project on Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19, both at the Arturo Sandoval Jazz Club, and Grady Tate at the Van Dyke Café on May 18.
