While enjoying Ethiopian food and conversing with someone from Prague, you’ll hear a kalimba being played to a classic soul tune. Ever heard a soukous song morph into dancehall, then to bebop? Or Afro beat to funk and spoken word? Music has the power to bring people together to create something new…to celebrate our uniqueness and our commonality. People doubt there can ever be an end to war. People doubt their ability to make a difference. But when each of us does something, together we can move mountains. Expect the Unexpected.”

Music is only part of the event—raffle tickets are available for $5, with such prizes as an iPod, Target gift card, dinners and more at stake. There will be a Silent Auction including tickets for Champions on Ice, framed artwork, Twins memorabilia, and gift certificates.
