The Jazz Showcase has been continually listed by Downbeat Magazine as of the best jazz clubs in the world. An institution in Chicago for sixty years, the Jazz Showcase was forced to relocate and has been closed since December while looking for a new home. You can help help the Showcase return and hear some of the greatest jazz musicians around at the same time by attending this all-star benefit concert. Master of Ceremonies Freddie Cole and an all-star jazz lineup will perform the benefit concert Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph Drive on March 1st at 7:30 PM.

An iconic fixture in the jazz community, Jazz Showcase will present what promises to be a remarkable evening of incredible performances. Featuring Freddy Cole as the MC, Jon Faddis joins The Chicago Jazz Ensemble Big Band. Pianists Benny Green, Willie Pickens, Judy Roberts, and "Two for Brazil" join the Bobby Lewis Swingtet with Eric Schneider. Saxophonists Harry Allen, Donald Harrison, Eric Alexander, and Greg Fishman will also join special guest Jack DeJohnette Trio.
