Graydon Peterson © Andrea Canter Looking
for great music, at a low cover, in St. Paul’s historic Lowertown?
With a tasty light menu and full bar? Even if you have to cross the
river, a trip to the French Press Jazz Café is worthwhile. The
musical offerings have expanded, creating a fusion much like that in
modern jazz, drawing on rock, pop, blues, R&B, soul, swing, and
mainstream post bop. Come early on weekends and catch some of the
young and new talents that abound in the Twin Cities. Check out the
Thursday Night Open Jams. And if you crave a dance floor, the French
Press can fill that need as well. For a full calendar, visit
www.fpjazz.com.
