The Third Annual West Oak Lane Jazz and Arts Festival takes place on June 23rd, 24th, 25th in Philadelphia. In addition to 3 days of non-stop music on 4 outdoor stages with 500 musicians, this year's festival will feature: War, Roy Ayers, Joey Defrancesco, Trudy Pitts, Slo Mo, Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble, Tia Fuller, Odean Pope, Sun Ra Arkestra, Jeff Bradshaw, Ileana Santamaria, and Mickey Roker.

The festival will take place outdoors between the 7100 and 7200 blocks of Ogontz Avenue and at several venues along Ogontz Avenue. Presented by The Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation (OARC). Bring your own chair!

October Gallery will collaborate with the West Oak Lane Jazz and Arts Festival to showcase over seventy fine artists. October Gallery hosts the Philadelphia International Art Expo, the largest African American Art Expo in the country, which attracts over forty-five thousand people each year. The West Oak Lane Jazz and Arts Festival is being produced once again by LifeLine Music Coalition, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and preserve jazz and the arts in Philadelphia. LifeLine Music Coalition, produced the first ever 3-day 2003 Philadelphia Jazz and Poetry Festival in September 2003 and the '04 and '05 West Oak Lane Jazz & Arts Festival.
