The 2006 Nightlife Award winners perform at Town Hall, Feb 6th Print E-mail

The 2006 Nightlife Awards at Town  Hall on Monday, February 6 is fast becoming yet another evening of  “epic entertainment” (American Theater Web). This always star-studded  celebration of the talent in New York City’s nightclubs includes  performances by Paula West, Hank Jones, Freddy Cole, Bill Charlap and  the Harry Allen and Joe Cohn Quartet.  In keeping with the spirit of  this unique awards show, all will perform.

They will join Nightlife Legend honoree Eartha Kitt, who will also  perform, as will such winners as Elaine Stritch and Brian Stokes  Mitchell. These and other great talents are performing at the 2006  Nightlife Awards to help promote the extraordinary artists that  perform every night of the week, every week of the year in the clubs  of New York. The winners were chosen by 27 critics and experts who  cover cabaret, comedy and jazz.

The Nightlife Awards is the only ALL-PERFORMANCE awards show in the  world. There are no acceptance speeches! To see the

greatest  nightlife talent in the world perform on one stage, on one night,  this is all that it costs: Tickets are $25, $50 & $75. Tickets are  available at the Town Hall Box Office (123 West 43rd Street) or via  TicketMaster at 212-307-4100. Limited tickets are available to the  after party for an additional $50 by calling 212-365-4345. The Nightlife Awards take place on  Monday, February 6 at 7:00 PM.
