She was then was invited back for a week in December, during which she payed tribute to her bebop roots by playing tunes associated with Bud Powell, Clifford Brown and Charlie Parker. Lenore swings hard and has the ability to draw forth an emotional connection to everything she plays.

Widely recognized as one of the top jazz pianists on the mainstream/bebop scene, Lenore’s jazz career has also included teaching, composing, recording and producing.

Lenore was Marian McPartland’s guest on National Public Radio’s award winning Piano Jazz, and named one of Yahoo’s top 100 Contemporary Pianists of 2003.

A winner of BET on Jazz Discovery, she has been featured at such major jazz clubs in the New York Metropolitan area as Birdland, Cleopatra’s Needle, The Iridium, Metronome, and national and international festivals such as Panasonic Village Jazz Festival, the East Coast Jazz Festival, International Association for Jazz Education showcase, Cape May Jazz Festival , the S.S.Norway Floating Jazz festival, Jazz Forum Arts summer festival.

Lenore has also given “standing room only” concerts that include libraries and cultural centers such as the Barron Art Center in New Jersey; Colorado Springs Conservatory in Colorado; she has sold out performances at the Gainesville Jazz Society in Florida, the Cocoa Beach and Palm Harbor libraries, and in top jazz clubs in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Three CD’s were released on the Swingin’ Fox Label, all of which have been on “heavy play" lists on jazz stations around the world. A fourth CD is scheduled to be released this year on the American Digital Label.

Appearing with such well-known artists as CLARK TERRY, AL GREY, VIC JURIS, MARK VINCI, HARRY ALLEN, JOHN PIZZARELLI, MARLENE VER PLANCK, has provided her with a well deserved reputation among fellow musicians.

Lenore is also a talented composer and has won ASCAP awards for her jazz compositions. Some of her compositions have been recorded by other artists as well.
