Formed as a nonprofit jazz arts organization in 1998,
JazzMN is a
professional orchestra which combines the talents of outstanding jazz
musicians from throughout the Twin Cities, and follows the models of
classical orchestras in striving for artistic excellence.
JazzMN's mission is to promote, preserve and perpetuate jazz, America's
indigenous art music, through performance, historical preservation and
educational outreach.

Saturday,
Jan. 21, 2006, 7:30 PM, Bob Florence, pianist/composer/arranger, Grammy
Award-winning leader of the Bob Florence Limited Edition Big Band.
Saturday,
March 18, 2006, 7:30 PM, Peter Erskine, drummer, a
Grammy-Award winner, who has worked with Diana Krall, Weather Report,
Maynard Ferguson and Stan Kenton.
JazzMN's
current location is the new Hopkins High School Performing Arts Center,
2400 Lindbergh Drive, one half-mile off Highway 169, west on
Cedar Lake Road, with free adjacent parking. www.jazzmn.org

the door with ID. TCJS and KBEM Jazz88 members receive $5.00 discount
