The seventh
annual Indy Jazz Fest announces lineup
for festival to take place June 17-19 in downtown Indianapolis

The American Pianists Association has announced the lineup for the 2005
Indy
Jazz Fest presented by Kroger. "We are very pleased with how this
year's
Indy Jazz Fest is shaping up," says Helen Small, president of the APA.
"We
have scheduled many outstanding performers who represent a variety of
music
genres and also included an array of new family-friendly activities and
amenities."
This year, the festival will maintain its three-day,
multi-stage format June 17-19 in downtown Indianapolis' Military Park.
Tickets
for the festival are on sale now at the Murat Centre Box Office, all
Central
Indiana Ticketmaster locations, on-line at www.murat.com and
www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at (317) 239-5151. On Friday,
June
17th, the festival will be open from 5pm-10:30pm, on Saturday hours are
2pm-11:00pm and on Sunday hours are 2pm to 9:00pm.

To add to the festival experience, a wide variety of
food and drink
vendors will be located in the food court. Family-friendly and
educational
activities will be part of the festival, Saturday and Sunday, at the JP
Morgan
Chase Jazz Village. Anthem health screenings will be available
throughout the
weekend, and for the first time at the festival, local artisans will be
invited
to display and sell their artwork.
Tickets will be $20 per day in
advance and $30 day of show. A three-day festival pass is available for
$45 in
advance. This pass will stop being sold the day the festival begins and
won't be
available at the gates. Children ages 14 and under will be admitted
free when
accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
The 2005 Indy Jazz Fest is
