Image MARK MURPHY is the 2005 Nightlife Awards Legend of Jazz and will perform at the ONLY All Performance/No Acceptance Speeches awards show.

2005-Nightlife Awards producer Scott Siegel is proud to announce that Mark Murphy will receive the Legend of Jazz Award at the 2005 Nightlife Awards. This prolific jazz recording artist is a six-time Grammy Award nominee.

Renowned jazz artist Andy Bey will perform a tribute to the late Jackie Paris, who won a posthumousaward for Outstanding Male Jazz Vocalist. Winners in the jazz category who will be on hand to perform include Paula West (Outstanding Female Jazz Vocalist), Joe Lovano Quartet (Outstanding Jazz Combo Performance) and Bill Charlap (Outstanding Jazz Soloist). Legend of Jazz Award winner Mark Murphy will also perform.
