“I don’t believe that a lot of the things I hear on the air today are going to be played for as long a time as Coleman Hawkins records or Brahms concertos.” - Oscar Peterson

South Florida is net necessarily a hotbed of live straightahead jazz. But this upscale club/restaurant offers live jazz seven nights a week, featuring local talent Sunday through Thursday, and oftentimes brings in national acts over the weekend.

Great sightlines and a nice looking room. Discounted admission for bar-stool seating. Smoking is restricted to the bar. Good martinis at reasonable prices.

Listed in Downbeat magazine (2004) as one of the top 100 Jazz clubs.
