Ryle's is not your typical jazz venue. The club boasts two floors, which allows it to be the most diverse of any club in its genre. At Ryles Jazz Club, you can enjoy the “the best in live music”, including major, national performers such as Arturo Sandoval, McCoy Tyner, Maynard Ferguson, Jon Hendricks, Jon Faddis or Nestor Torres, just to name a few. Ryles has also become a “hotbed” for terrific local talent, who use Ryles’s intimate setting and ambiance to move on to the national scene.

Musicians love the feel of the room, it is authentic and sophisticated, and is the perfect backdrop for scores of spectacular shows for our audiences. Ryles is the home of the nationally acclaimed Ryles Jazz Orchestra directed by Frank Vardaros. The RJO is featured monthly with a national artist or on it’s own, inspired by the rich tradition of a house big band in a major jazz venue.

The second floor houses Ryles Dance Hall, where you can experience something totally different. From “Hot” Salsa and Merengue to sophisticated Ballroom to upbeat Swing, Ryles Dance Hall will have you moving and grooving all night long. Even if you’re a beginner, we have some of the top dance instructors in the area to teach you the steps and get you going. So whether it is listening to smooth jazz in the main room or dancing the night away above, Ryles has something for everyone.

One of Downabeat Magzine's top 100 jazz clubs.
