The Times has been a Minneapolis jazz club for years, having once been on Nicolette Mall before Target built thier headquarters in the old location. They are now in the kitchy 'near northeast' across the street from Nye's. The Times offers live music every night with no cover and is a frequent showcase for local vocalist. The decor is dark wood with an old-world feel. This place gets pretty packed on the weekends.

Downstairs from the Times is Jitters Cafe which has an eclectic assorment of musical offerings and killer martinis.
