"On 'Twilight,' his new release, Victor Goines presents 11 beautiful stories of his own invention; performs them on soprano, alto, and tenor saxophone, and b-flat clarinet with utter authority; and interprets them with his singular blend of emotional heat and rigorous logic. Now 50, Goines ... reaffirms his stature as a 21st century American master." - Ted Panken, Downbeat Magazine
